Holmer Green Players was founded in 1980 when it split from the Village's Evening WI and became a drama group. Since that time it has produced two to three shows each year. In the late 80s the group formed a Junior section which rehearses and stages shows for the under 16 year olds.

Holmer Green Players meets on a Wednesday night at Holmer Green Village Centre on The Common at Holmer Green. At around 10.30 each Wednesday we go to the Old Oak pub in New Pond Road, Holmer Green for an after rehearsal drink.

Holmer Green Players has two sections - for adults and for the Under 16s. They both meet on Wednesday nights at Holmer Green Village Centre on the Common at Holmer Green.

Annual membership is only £60 for adults and £120 for under 16s (which includes a commitment from the group to stage high profile shows). You can pay adult or Junior Membership monthly at no extra cost using a system called Go Cardless - ask for more details. You can also join as an acting member or as part of the backstage staff (for a membership fee of only £5.00 per annum). Just fill in the contact form on this page. Although most members join our group to act, some like filling other roles like sound and lighting, making costumes, admin roles or even just occasionally making the tea!
